Feature Update 1.03 — Improved Room Projection Builder Workflow, Hotkeys, Projectors and Cameras

This update improves the CRS Room Projection Builder workflow and makes the tool much more comfortable to use during the creation of custom projection rooms, immersive environments, and nDisplay-style layouts.

The Room Projection Builder now works closer to a familiar 3D editor experience. Users can interact with scene objects more naturally, use hotkeys, select and transform objects more conveniently, and build projection layouts faster directly inside Unreal Engine.

New Projector and Camera objects have been added to the builder. These objects make it easier to plan projection setups, preview projector placement, check coverage, and estimate how many projectors may be required for immersive rooms, projection mapping spaces, curved screens, and multi-wall installations.

Projectors can now also load and display custom images. This makes it possible to preview projected content directly inside the builder and better understand how the image will appear on selected room surfaces.

The interface has also been redesigned and improved. The updated layout provides a cleaner workflow, faster access to important tools, and a more convenient editing experience when working with walls, custom surfaces, projectors, cameras, and scene objects.

Workflow Improvements

  • Users can work with the builder in a more natural way, similar to common 3D editing tools.
